Everything in the Boat
Your trip rate covers everything listed below. Show up at the launch — Jason handles the rest.
🎣 Premium Gear
Sage and Winston rods, Hatch and Ross reels, floating and sink-tip lines. Best equipment on the water, period.
🪰 All the Flies
Jason selects flies each morning based on current hatch reports. Dries, nymphs, streamers — everything you need for the day.
🍱 Food & Drinks
Full-day trips include a streamside lunch and beverages throughout the day. Half-day trips include snacks and drinks. Dietary needs always accommodated.
🚗 Shuttle Service
Full-day float trips include vehicle shuttle coordination so you can focus on fishing — not logistics.
🎓 Expert Instruction
Jason provides personalized coaching throughout the day — casting, reading water, mending, nymphing, everything.
🌧️ Rain Gear
If the skies open up, we have you covered. Don’t worry about packing foul weather gear.
⚠️ What's Not Included: Montana Fishing License
All clients must purchase a valid Montana Conservation License and Fishing License before the trip. Available online at fwp.mt.gov — typically $20–$40 for non-residents. Jason will send you the direct link and help you through the process when you book.
Booking & Cancellation Policy
Deposit to Hold Your Date
A 50% deposit of the total trip cost is required at the time of booking to secure your date. Your trip is not confirmed until the deposit is received. The balance is due on the day of the trip.
Cancellation 14+ Days Before Your Trip
Full deposit refund, no questions asked. Life happens — we get it. Just give us as much notice as possible so we can offer the date to another angler.
Cancellation Within 14 Days
Deposit is non-refundable unless we are able to fill the date with another booking. If we fill it, we’ll refund your deposit in full. We’ll always try to work with you if circumstances are beyond your control.
Weather & River Safety Cancellations
If Jason determines that conditions are genuinely dangerous — significant lightning risk, severe river blowout from flooding, or other safety concerns — the trip will be rescheduled or your deposit fully refunded. We fish rain, wind, and cold without issue. Safety cancellations are rare but always at Jason’s final discretion.
Gratuities
Tips are never expected but genuinely appreciated. Industry standard is 15–20% of the trip cost for a great day. Cash preferred. Your honest enjoyment of the experience is what Jason values most.
Spring Season Is Booking Now
Skwala season on the Bitterroot is one of the best dry fly windows of the year — and it fills up fast. Reach out to check your dates.
